I'm a filipino citizen by birth, I've been in the US for 19 months. I joined the army november 2010 last year and got my active duty status last april 2011 and left july 2011. i was medically discharge due to fractures and swelling in my legs. I want to ask the chances of getting my citizenship.

August 22, 2011 - I sent my N400 to Nebraska Service Center

September 6, 2011 - They received my N400 and review that I'm a former military member.

September 13, 2011 - I got it a mail regarding Fingerprinting

September 15, 2011 - I did my fingerprinting.

So what's next? What's gonna happen after i did my fingerprinting?

due to your discharge, it might be effect your application but if I am were you, i will ask my recruiter about that. For what i understand If you apply the citizenship through military purposes you need to serve minimum of 3 years and if you didnt meet that minimum requirement , they will stop the process and not awarding you the citizenship.

I just dont understand why you send your paper work to nebraska service center? Is yar NCO didnt tell you that you need to bring your application with you to yar BCT camp and your master drill sgt. will process the papers and he will tell you what you need to do?

2nd. Is the FBI already interview you for security clearance and citizenship?

let me know your answer
