Greeting fellow VJ members,

I've seen many posts in which OPs state that CSC is the fastest as far as processing I-130 petitions. I was looking at VJ's IR1/CR1 Visa Historical Processing Times, here's the link: Processing Times. From NOA1 to NOA2, CSC is processing I-130s with a NOA1 date of June 6, VSC is processing I130s with NOA1 date of July 8, and TSC is processing I-130s with a NOA1 date of June 22. I know that these timelines are based upon information VJ member's timeline updates, but how accurate is this? Seems to me that CSC is the slowest at this point in time. I know USCIS's website states that I-130s (U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21) is 5 months. Does anyone know of a more accurate website?

Best wishes to all....

Yup, CSC is going @ a terribly slow rate right now... Don't know what's their problem?! I've heard things like they met their "Quota for the year" already, "staffing", "priority cases", etc? Of course all could be assumptions or what not, because we all don't know what's really up inside the walls of the CSC but it just seems like they don't care--It's jacked up how they are messing with peoples' lives in this way.

During my I-130 process, I saw CSC, VSC & TSC overtaking each other - it happens all the time. 5 months is what USCIS has been stating (probably their way of telling that they entertain inquires after 5 months). The average have been 3 months. There is one other site but it is no where near VJ and I would even mention it here.

Yes CSC was slowing down considerably while my case was there. When I first filed CSC was about two weeks faster in estimate that VSC. Then as my case was sitting at CSC the VSC service center started pumping out approvals and was processing about a month faster than CSC. Not to mention that the CSC mailroom is awful! They are approving petitions then allowing them to sit for a month before forwarding to NVC. Even on expedited cases. VSC seems to mail them out much more frequently.

But like others have said it goes back and forth and no rhyme or reason for any of it... Other than being a government agency with a lack of compassion for families who are fighting to be together! IMHO

Thank you for all of your comments. It is quite frustrating when you feel like your treated like a number and not as human beings wanting to unite with their loved ones. We will get there.....

I remember the old days of 2010 and the CSC to TSC TO CSC transfer, I was a member then as well. I was only commenting that CSC has slowed down.

USCIS continues to maintain 5 months as the process time and that makes 150 days their standard - so anything less than 150 days is a bonus (most of us got it) and anything more than that is big pain (2010 CSC to TSC to CSC guys faced it). I hope and pray that CSC maintains the average of 90 days.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

No offense taken whatsoever. Thank you for your response. It's interesting to review comments from people who have seen it all and have been through the process. Some days, I do get inpatient and it's only the beginning for us. I'll be visiting my husband in November and in the meantime, I hope that we will receive our NOA2.

Best wishes to you as well.
