URGENT : !!!! PLEASE HELP !!! NEVER GOT PACKET #3 AND MY INTERVIEW DATE IN THIS COMING MONDAY

Good Morning Everyone

I need your help !!!!

After a month waiting gor packet #3, i emailed the US Embassy in SUVA, Fiji they nicely responded to me saying my interview in on September 19th !!! yes this coming Monday !!!

I am not quite ready yet, i am about (in couple hours) to aske them to push back my interview date and give me two more weeks, for me to get airplane tickets, received the original packet from Hawaii (which takes 1 week even using DHL).

Has anyone of you had to do this, push back an interview date ???

Do you think it's a bad thing to ask to push back ???

Please i need advice to aske for a new interview date the nicest and the most argumentative way.

14-05-2011 : NOA1

18-07-2011 : NOA2 ..... APPROVED !!!!!!! :)

11-08-2011 : Packet left NVC for US Embassy Suva, Fiji

06-10-2011 : Interview Date : SUCCESS !!!!

23-10-2011 : POE : Honolulu Hawaii

09-11-2011 : Marriage : Mr & Mrs BERNABE <3

09-01-2012 : Application sent for AOS

Asking to push back the date because you have not yet received information in the mail and need time to gather that information is one thing. Because you need to buy plane tickets...I don't know if I would bring that up.

you waited to long, try calling the embassy, click on embassy info new zealand, you see packet 3 follow the instructions down load the forms from the department of state,fax them soon as possible, you can ask for a new interview date, good luck

Ok, after further research, the medical appointment has to take place in SUVA and i know the medical appointment should be taken prior the interview.

I will gather everything and fax them ASAP, airplane ticket is not the problem at all, i didn't received packet number 3, so i wasn't aware of anything includind the interview date.

I'll fax everything ASAP and request a new interview date like @jkelly07 suggested.

Any other suggestions ???

You can download all the forms from the consulate website and have them ready, make your own medical appointment once you have your NVC number. We never got packet 3 either but we had all the forms prepared before we even filed the initial petition.

AOS Journey

11-04-2011 sent AOS to Chicago lockbox

11-07-2011 delivered

11-08-2011 Date on text messages but did not receive until 11-22-2011

11-23-2011 Check cashed.

11-25-2011 Hard copies of NOA1s

12-06-2012 Pui's Brother unexpectly passes away and we make an info pass appointment and receive an emergancy AP so she can return home. Pui leaves for Thailand for 2 weeks.

12-06-2012 Get a text message and email that she received an RFE

12-12-2012 RFE for original birth certificate. I swear we sent it along with a certificate translation of it.

12-20-2012 Pui returns from Thailand.

12-21-2012 We send the RFE back for with original birth certificate along with a new certificate of translation(I had to wait for her to return for her to sign)

12-26-2012 text and email they have received the RFE.

12-29-2012 Appointment for biometrics is 01-23-2012

01-13-2012 AP is approved.

01-23-2012 Biometrics appointment. Later during the evening the text and email saying the EAD is approved.

01-31-2012 EAD/AP combo card arrives.

05-22-2012 Email and text card is in production!

Only I (citizen of France) will be traveling to Suva for my interview.

I'll faxe everything over and call them during calling hours and ask to push back our dates, just a 2 weeks delay is enough for us, we will see..
