First of all, thank you VisaJourney for taking the worry and the complexity out of filing the I-129F.

With that said, our petition was APPROVED! The California Service Center has just outdone itself. We filed in the middle of August, got our NOA1 around August 17, and just when I was getting worried that our case hadn't been touched in the month that it's been out in I-129Fland, we got our NOA2. They processed our petition in 26 days. We're an entire 1.5 months ahead of what I was expecting. I'm gobsmacked.

Wishing everyone else an expedient process like ours. Please keep us updated on your timelines - it really helps everyone. Thank you all!!!

You must have sent Grandmas banana bread in with your app  Congrats!!!!!

Amazing! Great news! Congrats!

We filed before you and haven't heard anything (nor do I expect any word for quite a while), but your story gives me fate!

Well done and keep us posted on the rest of your journey.

No expedite requested, and no bribes, lol. We just faithfully did our research and made sure our evidence for the relationship/making sure we've seen each other in the past two years was solid. I think the wisest advice I've gotten from VJ was to file your petition as if the adjudicator knows NOTHING about your relationship (because they don't). We painted a very cohesive and chronological story about how we met, how we became friends and how we fell in love. All the evidence we submitted just supported our story in a very logical way.

We did that too and our NOA2 was pretty quick.

We sent our 129F off the day my husband moved back after we'd been living in Scotland. I joined him 3 days later and we got our NOA2 while I was midway through my 3month trip. My packet 3 was waiting for me when I got back. It took about 3 weeks from NOA2 according to the date. We had it sent to my parents house. Might want to get mail forwarding? Depending on how long his trip is...

Have fun with the rest of it all! :)

Wow I can't praise them because I applied before you and I am still waiting. I will congratulate you though. You are very fortunate as most of us are still waiting and will be for awhile. I wish I were as lucky to have my approval too as early as you. Even if i get it tomorrow I still would have waited longer than you though. Well, good luck and say a prayer for the rest of us.

Sorry, but that's not why you got approved ahead of everyone. Someone made a mistake and put your packet in front of people that should have gone before you

Well we will never know why some are approved ahead of others, let's not be snarky towards those who get their approvals before others. I'm wishing the best for everyone - you do what you can and follow the rules and hope for the best. Most of us are on this forum for the same reason: support, so comments that tear people and their visajourney down are unnecessary. thanks to everyone who has offered congratulations and support. We appreciate it and hope to do the same for others.

I can't praise CSC also, because by earlier timeline statistics our petition should be approved on this week, but since CSC almost stopped their work some time ago, we're still on the 100+ place in the queue. And if we will not be approved in already less than a 4 weeks, it will ruin our vacation plans to spend 3 weeks in November together, and we will have less than 2 weeks together. :( It's still great to have even this time together in person, but losing 7 days and nights together isn't cheerful. So, I of course congratulate OP that CSC putted his petition in front of others, but I personally don't see any reason to tell "praise to CSC" for now, because we're with Amy waiting already 72 days and still no any news.

I was hoping to have a fall interview for my fiance - I'm planning to attend and spend some a couple of weeks with her as well. At 97 days with no word, once you add in NVC time and all that, it might be a Christmas vacation, which has its charms, but I'd rather travel in warmer weather.

97 days and no action (except taking my money). Can any of you who work in the private sector imagine getting away with this level of disregard for basic customer service? This process would just be a joke if it weren't harming people's lives.

OP, let me reiterate, I am happy for you. In fact, I think the 26 days you had to wait was still too long. NOA2 shouldn't take more than a week to get done (go ahead, USCIS apologists, make your case about how smartly they try to maintain a backlog for efficiency).
