So as I can see, the daughter will most likely turn 18 before mommy takes her oath. My only question is whether I can go ahead and file an N400 for daughter after her B'Day or now does she need to wait the 5 years (which is essentially just another 18 months).

If she turns 18 before mom naturalizes, 5 years residency rule applies.
