I'm about to petition my mom and dad. My mom was married to another man but has been separated for almost 30 years already and never been married to my dad.They had a civil wedding ceremony but it turned out that their marriage was not register and does not appear into the national statistics office. There was no existing marriage contract/license in their records. In her marital status, shall I put that she is married? or single? She is currently using her maiden name and never used the ex-husband's last name. Thank you for your replies.
