Hello Wonderful VJers, we paid our IV bill three weeks ago, sent the receipt to the NVC, but there hasn't been any notice from them yet. I have assembled all the 230 forms and other civil documents, waiting for the NVC to send IV instruction package before we proceed to send to them, and its taking forever. Does it take this longer?I want to find out if l can send the documents to the NVC even though the instruction is not in. Thank You

DON'T wait for NVC to contact you, if you had paid the AOS & IV bills, get the barcodes, gather the required documents and send them in!

If you need some more information on the IV & AOS packets here's a link.

There is no need to send the receipt to NVC after payment. Once the payment status is changed to PAID, print the cover sheet with bar code and use it as the first page of your DS-230 packet. Complete your DS-230 packet and mail it to NVC ASAP.

I guess you already paid AOS fee and send the I-864 packet.
