I just got this email message and i'm so excited.. finally :) my NOA1 was 6-24

The following is the latest information on your case status

Receipt Number: WAC##########

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On September 19, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

National Customer Service Center (800) 375-5283.

*The projected processing time frame can be found on the receipt notice that you received from the USCIS.

Did you use the old I-129F? I cannot remember who used what.

If it was the old form, then this is great news!!!

Approval is right around the corner!!

05-18-2006 went home to the Philippines to visit her

06-02-2006 sent out I-129F

Will you only get an IMBRA rfe if you used the old form? I used the new form I-129F when sending my petition packet out today. What kind of questions do they ask in a IMBRA rfe?

Some people were sent IMBRA RFEs even if they've sent the updated I-129f - but that was clearly USCIS's mistake. You can find a scanned IMBRA RFE pinned to this forum.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Joone, I am happy for you. I was in the same boat...waiting for the IMBRA RFE. Finally on 9/14/06 I received an email stating they needed more info. I still haven't received it by mail yet! I am in Georgia and they are in Cali. I don't know why the mail should take that long. So even though I have the RFE, I don't HAVE the RFE in hand! :angry:

Does anyone else experience longer than normal wait times with the mail?

OF COURSE WE EXPERIENCE SUPER LONG WAIT TIMES. I also got a RFE mailed out to me on Sept. 15th and it arrived in the mail on Sept. 21st, it took them that long. The sad thing is that I live within 40 miles from the CSC, and it took that long. So yeah, just be a little more patient. :yes:

04/08/07: U.S. ENTRY at LAX

04/23/07: Married in Vegas
