Hope GUZ will process it soon. Mine took 1 1/2 months. Good luck!

Oh, you should be calling DOS for the case status. NVC won't tell you anything after it was sent.

Which DOS did you call ?

See here for instruction. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/264972-shortcuts-when-checking-for-updates-from-the-nvc-and-dos/

Basically call 1-202-663-1225, press 1 and then 0 to get a live person. That person will be able to tell you your case status. You need to have the GUZ2011xxxxxx number and your fiance's information at hand because they will ask for it.

Our file was send out according to NVC on 8/12/11 - Called Guangzhou consulate 2 weeks ago and said they have not received it. Checked with NVC again this week and they said have been sent. its been almost 2 months now. Waiting is painful

check in with DoS now.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

excellent (that you called DoS) - now set up yer DoS Calling Pattern - twice a week until the casefile status changes.

If you note the stuff in that link, further down I've written what you can get, from whom, and the order of 'what's next'.

So - follow that map, pay attention to 'P3 sent' casefile status from DoS Hotline PhoneCall (YOU call, YOU ask, YOU log).

Good Luck !
