hey bob, we are a family here. not sure about where you and your wife draw the line, but i pick up where i feel my wife needs help. if that is across the line in your family, fine, but if it isn't in my family then it really isn't off issue here. we make the rules in our family, not you or anyone else.

You should HELP your wife by helping HER respond to it. Doing it for her makes you her father, not her husband. She should be learning to fight her own battles and ask you when it's too hard. It will help build her confidence. The way you're doing it is just so... insulting. She is an adult. People at work probably laugh about how sad it is that her husband controls her life and letters :S She can write the letters with your help. What would she do if you're not around? She needs to learn. It would be nice to teach her/show her.

I agree with Vanessa&Tony let her handle it herself. I often try to handle my problems alone&if its beyond me then I consult my husband. Anyway there is nothing wrong to be protective with your wife. I once worked with a lady who used to say she would not help her coworkers because her husband told her to only do whats required. Boy she was met with resistance from everyone that she ended up quiting.
