Here is our brielf story. After we were married, my wife moved to Alabama from Canada. We made our applications. But did not know for 15 months that the marriage certifacte we sent was not the one they wanted. They wanted a provincial copy, not the one we received when we were married. So we had to apply for that one. But during this time we tooka trip to Canada for Christmas,(without an approved ap). On our return trip(12/31/05) at the POE in Detroit, they told us no your wife and child may not enter the U.S. Our hearts dropped. Life as we new it, just changed. Story shorten here. The hardest decision we have ever made was going to being made. Due to responsibilities, my wife stayed, and I came back. When I arrived, attempted to cantact to senator and 1 congressman. Only the congressman has elected to help us. In our timeline you can see our progress. The Nvc sent a request to expidite our packet. Today I heard from the congressman, I was told that the request to expidite was denied. But that were going to get us an appointment in November, but we have no day yet. Is this something to get excited about or should I wait, because I do not want to falsely inflate my wife hopes, this has been hard enough her already. A let down like that would not be good.
