Today I had my interview and got my visa at the US Consulate in Naples,and me and my fiancèe would like to thank the VJ community and the precious help received from the many tips learnt by reading countless threads and the amazing guides outlined here.

I'm even more grateful after today I've seen some applicants that hired lawyers to do the process,and therefore spending tons of money,with poor results which didn't result in visa denial but they didn't have or missed some docs while thanks to the FREE preparation and knowledge gained with VJ everything went smooth :):):):)

Next step AOS :)

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Be sure and leave a detailed review for the consulate!

Ghepardo btw,congrats for being at the last step of this journey :) Don't be scared about the process in Naples,preparation and having all the docs required is the key..for the rest nothing else,cause they're really nice laid out people the officers working there :thumbs:
