well she needs to put on her big girl panties and get over it because she was NOT denied (as you said) and some people DO get denied. You just need to send in the appropriate paperwork. A couple of weeks delay maybe. No biggie.

AGREED!

She should not be so upset, yeah its stessful, believe me, i went though it, and ya I took it out on my husband a bit, just venting, but he was there for me, understood that i was being a little bit of a freako, but i calmed down, and he calmed me down- your supposed to be a team.

OK now here is the big question .. how do i deal with an upset fience

The first step is to try to figure out why she is so upset. It may not be you but you are the only one who can feel her pain.

I think when we all start this process, we know that it's going to be hard but don't feel the pain of it until we have a set back..she'll be fine, let her vent and tell her that it'll be worth the wait, that you'll do what it takes, yada yada, it's what chicks like to hear.

Your answer leads me to believe that you didn't understand my question (sorry if I am wrong). I'll ask it a different way. So none of your ex's were born in another country and came to the US on a visa for which you were the petitioner?

No they were all US citisens

She would have been stressed going into the interview and if she discovered something she didn't know about before - would be wondering why perhaps? Or, didn't understand the result of the interview and thinks it is a denial?

Regardless of which case applies, it is not fair to you to ignore your calls. You wont know until you discuss it and you can then take the soft (maybe flowers) approach, or tell her you are sorting out the missing info. Either way, yes.... she needs to realise she is in this too and the process is not easy for either of you. That's life.

Wow I am overwhelmed by the overflowing of support.

However I feel like I have let her down on her biggest day.

She took her sister and nieces to London to celebrate

and I violated a rule. Everyone is so right this is one of

the hardest things to do. In the begining you are on overload

with all the forms and that, rushing about. Here we are 1 1/2 years

latter and she has sold her home, last day of work is on the 23rd

Her pets are to be delivered to San Francisco this Friday and

I was going to fly out but on the 22nd I am glad I did not buy

the tickets yet. I LOVE MY JULIE AND I AM VERY SORRY to have hurt her

I have a copy of the divorce papers in hand and as soon as

I hear back from Julie and what her wishes are I will be

ready to get them notarized and to the post for express

delivery to the London Embassy

You didn't hurt her, the situation is difficult and hurts the people involved, nevertheless, it needs to be done and we can't let emotions get the better of us. Fight for it and it will happen for you. Good luck.

Are they originals stamped with the clerk of the Circuit Court's seal?

Notarized means nothing for Divorce documents for immigration purposes, they need the Final Decree endorsed by the issuing Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Yep. Hard to notarize a document that has already been signed.

For those divorce decrees you are going to need the original decrees not notarized forms. So, just be sure they are not photo copies which have been notarized that will not work. Did your fiancee even know you were married two times previously? If she did not know then that is probably why she was denied. But, at any rate you are going to need to have the original decrees and if you can not find them then you have to go to the court-house where those decrees are filed and obtain copies of the originals which are certified copies. Good luck it seems like you have a large amount of work on your hands. You need all of the prayer and support that you can get at this time! Did your fiancee contact you again by now? I pray this works out for you and her!

Allah[swt] says: “You may have someone in your mind, someone in your heart, someone in your dreams, someone in your life, but I am your someone when you have no one"He[swt] reminds us saying "O Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and for the believers who follow you." [[Qur'an:8:4]] So when you slip and fall, remind yourself of Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim, the One whose always there, just waiting for your Call!
