I only see 120...but that is a number from this spring.

I read that somewhere in one of the posted articles. 120 wouldn't be close enough to make the effort, and the Saudi's wouldn't risk angering the US if it wasn't more likely than not to pass the General Assembly.

Even if the Arabic governments in the ME get precisely what they want and Israel ceases to exist and every Jew in the ME is either dead or exiled in the West, the United States will continue to have an interest in containing Iran. So the Saudis can act as bratty as they wish, Uncle Sam is never going to leave them by the wayside.

At least until the Saudis run out of oil.

Your uninformed opinion is rather at odds with the IDF's official assessment:

That chart shows that the IDF cleaning house in Gaza was a good thing.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I thought you didn't care, one way or the other...

Because I'm sick and fkng tired of seeing these threads on here. I figure if I give them enough ####### they just might take a break. I don't trust either the Jews or the Arabs. Is that racial? Who knows...is it honest..you betcha. Does history prove me correct? You bet it does.

The Jews put spies in the US and steal every military secret they can get their hands on. Then you have the Arabs who are living the 6th century who don't have a problem sticking a bomb in a plane full of people while trying to kill anyone they disagree with like that Danish cartoonist, yet they suck on European welfare like a calf on the #######.

And if anyone wants to disagree with this...fine but I'l post so many links on here that it will take two post to fit all of them.

That chart shows that the IDF cleaning house in Gaza was a good thing.

The chart shows figures for West Bank attacks - it does not include Gaza attacks.

As you can clearly see, there is a marked decrease from 2006 to 2007, and an even greater decrease from 2007 to 2008. As the IDF report states: this was due to the increased security activity of the Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority

http://idfspokesperson.com/facts-figures/terror-attacks-in-the-west-bank/

What is not mentioned in the IDF report: beginning in 2006, the United States Security Coordinator under Lt. Gen. Keith Dayton began arming and training the Fatah-controlled PA security forces. (As part of this, the USSC also armed and trained forces under Fatah's strongman in Gaza, Mohammed Dahlan, which launched the failed coup against Hamas after the elections of 2006.)

However, the Cast Lead assault on Gaza was not until late December 2009 - January 2010.

So I don't know how you could conclude that the decreases in attacks in the West Bank from 2006 to 2007 to 2008 and even 2009 are effects of the attack on Gaza that did not even begin until these periods were already over (Israel's assault began late in the evening of December 27, 2009.)

Correction on dates of Cast Lead.
