A lot of them still in use...

Obviously you're a threat.

And obviously, you missed the point of posting hot chicks with rifles.

Obviously you're a threat.

Just another in the long list of things the IDF finds threatening... cameras, journalists, ambulances, children on their way to school, pregnant women about to give birth, protestors with flags, human rights activists, strawberries, chocolate, potato chips, crayons... the list goes on and on.

And obviously, you missed the point of posting hot chicks with rifles.

Now this is not my niche :D But I'm sure someone will be along very soon to share their collection...

We'll be there someday.

I sure hope they hurry up.

That was hideously ignorant.

#1. The state of Israel is not "The Jews," and it does not officially represent "The Jews"

#2. Israel's illegal settlers do not represent "The Jews" either, although they have an inordinate amount of influence over Israeli government policy

#3. Not all Jewish people live in Israel (not even half of the world's Jewish population lives there)

#4. Not all Jewish people support Israel or its behavior - most of them didn't in the early days of Zionism, and more and more of them are not supporting it now

#5. Many Jewish people (both in Israel and outside) actively support the Palestinians in their struggle for justice and strongly support their right to self-determination NOW under a two-state model, based on the 1967 armistice lines and including East Jerusalem as the Palestinian capital

#6. More and more Jewish people are supporting a single, secular state with equal rights for all people who live in historic Palestine :o

It's no secret that you and I disagree radically.

However I wanted to point out that the above post is on the mark. I agree with virtually all you've written above. The only thing I would take issue with is point 4, in that it's ambiguously (and misleadingly) worded.

You wrote "Not all Jewish people support Israel or its behavior - most of them didn't in the early days of Zionism, and more and more of them are not supporting it now".

The implication might be that "more and more" are not supporting "Israel" as well as "its behavior" now. That might be literally true, if you interpret "more and more" to mean some additional Jews are no longer supporting Israel now. But I think it's very important to distinguish "Israel" and "its behavior" in that sentence.

I agree that a large and growing number of Jews inside and outside Israel are more and more concerned about Israeli government policies and the occupation of the West Bank and the blockade of Gaza. I include myself in that number. We want a change in Israeli policies for its own sake as a democracy, as a state that respects and protects human rights.

But I disagree that Jews in any sizable number no longer support Israel itself. I think you'll find that even the most dovish of us who ally with B'tselem and Shalom achshav and the other peace movements firmly support Israel as a state and as a homeland for the Jewish people. Zionism as a political philosophy could not be more relevant and alive to the Jewish people worldwide in 2011. What many of us strive for is the original conception of Zionism as a humanist and liberal philosophy. The occupation has tarnished that conception of Zionism for me and many on the Left in Israeli politics, and we want to restore it to its original.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I gotcha.

It's nice to hear someone's still using the Galil. Almost all pictures I've seen recently are with M-4s. I wish I had the money, I would've had a Galil a long time ago.

First of all, I was specifically responding to the statements made by Why Me, one of which I even quoted in my post:

You don't know the Jews. I'm telling ya now they have no plans of going back to the '67 borders no matter what Turkey decides to do. They will never give up Jerusalem without a fight.

If there's war over there, it only gives the Jews a green light to end Palestine once and for all.

You completely skipped over this bigoted & utter nonsense, yet you felt compelled to re-write what I actually said into some kind unrecognizable double-speak strawman so that you could proceed to tilt at it, and then wrap up with yet another glowing sermon on Zionism.

I stand by every word I wrote, whether you agree with it or not.
