The Dunta Robinson helmet hit on Maclin was outrageous.

2011-September-18-22-45-13_medium.jpg

Robinson ought to be suspended for a game for that cheap shot. Penalizing it is one thing, but when a player keeps doing it, it may be time to dole out suspensions.

I can't stand Vick (yes, it's because of what he did) so I was glad to see the Eagles lose for that reason.

He was fined $40,000, someone should tell Robinson that he isn't with the Raiders of the 70s.

I don't like what Vick did either, but if he has learned from his mistakes, why hang him?

I agree. He paid his debt to society. And I do believe in rehabilitation and giving a man a second chance. He is without sin let him cast the first stone, and all that.

Besides he's a very talented athlete and I enjoy watching him play. He's got an awesome arm and he runs like nobody's business.

He's expected to appeal that fine.

I also think he should get a suspension. At least for one game, if not two. That's what the NFL should do if they're serious about helmet-helmet hits.

If people don't believe in rehabilitation, we should just let everyone out of prison and save the taxpayers a fortune. I like to think that occasionally the prison system actually works.

The NFL pays lip service to injury prevention but should anyone be surprised by that.

Especially if buzzards, handcuffs and Steven are involved.

You're trying to turn this thread into something it's not. And we're just not going to take the bait. :innocent:

Besides, it's not Steven who's involved with the buzzards and handcuffs. It's Amby.

I thought that this was about foosball and the Uncover 2 Defense? As for Spooks, Steven and Amby, let's not discuss 3-technique and who's undertackle.

We play the Packers next week.

I'm considering hanging myself rather than going through the ordeal of watching that catastrophe unfold.

Opinions?

The game is in Chicago, so I think the Bears have some chance.

The Raiders of the 70's didn't deserve half the bad reputation they receive. Steve Grogan's poor throw in 1978 made sure of that. Raiders are trying to go back to that bully image. I think that only works if you've got great cornerbacks, which they don't have. As was evidence by the Buffalo receivers shredding them last sunday. Now if only Buffalo had a defense, and a quarterback to go with those receivers and backs.
