After NOA2 before interview Questions

I received my fiance's NOA2 in the mail today and it says on it, "The above petition has been approved, and forwarded to the listed consulate."

1. Does this mean that his visa has skipped the National Visa Center and was sent straight to Amsterdam or is it being sent to Amsterdam through the NVC (which will most likely take another month)?

2. Is this what everyone's NOA2 says?

3. I was told that when I received the notice I would need to call a number to get his case number but the only phone number listed is a customer service number at the bottom of the form. Is that the number I should be calling?

4. Also, do I have to pay any money to the NVC? And does he have to pay any money to the consulate in Amsterdam?

Thanks in advance for any help!

1) All the NOA2s say that, but it will go to NVC for a couple of days. Visas aren't processed there, they just travel through from there to the embassy. It should arrive there in a week or so and move on to the embassy a few days after that.

2) Yes

3) I think you can call the customer service line and they'll transfer you. Don't use the automated system though, make sure you speak to a person.

4) Don't have to pay anything to NVC for K1. Will have to pay $350 to embassy for visa processing, once your interview date has been assigned.

Good luck :)
