Moral Support Needed!

It is a slow, expensive, and tiring bureaucratic process. You were ignorant to the experiences of many of us, now you are welcomed to our group by your shared experience. It is sure to bring a new perspective to you -just as it has for many others. You will now have to educate people around you who also think (as you thought) that the immigration process was an easy one. Patience is the one word mantra that we like to keep around here.

This process will test you as a person and it will also test your relationship. We all need a place to vent sometimes and this can be a good place to vent to people with a shared experience. Just a word of caution when you do. If you hint (even jokingly, as I think your post was intended) that you are more deserving or your case should move faster than any other member you will get what you got here in previous posts.

Don't worry though there is always another pitty party to join. This place has been a big support to us on our journey so far and I hope it will be to you as well. Take up a hobby while you wait, I chose smoking and drinking and I colored my hair gray.

Good luck to you!

Personally, I feel that only individuals that have not achieved anything in their own careers/lives that keep mentioning their heritage and "blue blood". Just makes me lough every time. All of us have rights and privileges. However, #1 goal of USCIS and DHS is to protect USC from terrorism and illegal immigration. Immigration is a privilege, not the right. For the same token, this is a privilege to grant admission of the foreign wife. If you decide to marry abroad then be ready to jump through the hoops. On this site we will all help you as much as we can. In fact, this site is a wonderful resource and people are ready to help. What people don't like on this site is whining and sense of entitlement. I feel that USCIS and Consular staff in Moscow were extremely happy. I am grateful for their work and efforts.

Sure, everyone has an opinion. You don't speak for eveyone on this site. I have had a lot of help here and consider it a fantastic resource. A snarky little <radio edit> like you doesn't phase me, I'll banter with you all day, it's amusing, like winding up a doll and watching it try to walk across the room. Send me a private messsage, we can take it offline so as not to clutter up the thread, I'll wind you up some more. I have some very interesting stories about my family, going way back, I can regale you with.

Thanks, great advice. And thanks for the laughs about your hobbies! It's very easy to misinterpret the written word and I do not feel any entitlement. My takeaway from this thread is that I must have patience in spades. And, with that, I think I will shut up now!

I am absolutely not interested in your stories. Save it for your grand children to entertain them and to make them proud of you. If you have real question on the process or preparation for the interview in Moscow or most recent experiences you are welcome to contact me. Good luck!

OK! OK! Do you or your husband have any ancestors from Mayflower? When you ####### your finger or cut yourself with a knife what color of the liquid do you see? Blue or red? Red?? This is my point! You should be ashamed of yourself and should wait for real Americans to receive visas first!! Who cares if you and your husband pay taxes! Just wait!
