I recently applied for AOS/EAD/AP from a K-1 and received my NOA on July 18.

3 weeks ago, my husband received a letter informing him my K-1 petition (I-129F) was transferred to National Benefits Center. My guess is now both my original visa petition and AOS application are linked and they will process it at NVC. However, when I go to the USCIS website to check my application status, I can't see any updates. All they say is that my 3 applications (AOS/EAD/AP) were received and are under initial review and it doesn't even show that it has been transferred to NVC.

I guess my questions are:

- Who do I call or how can I obtain a real update on my case?

- And does the 3 months processing starts when you first apply or when NVC receives it?

Thank you for your time and response!

ROC completed April 2014

AOS from K1 completed February 2012

Usually takes a bit for the case to show up when it first gets to NBC. Sometimes it will show up after biometrics or just before it.

Call the same USCIS hotline or "misinformation line" for updates.

Processing starts when it hits NBC It will stay at NBC or go to CSC for " faster processing "

I'm curious why they moved the K-1 though I haven't seen that before.

You are dealing with NBC not NVC
