Thank you all so much. Your responses were all very helpful.

Thank you Juan and Nan

To "Stud Muffin" and "Life's Journey" the passport can only be expedited if you are in Jamaica. On the website pica.jm.gov it tells you in the FAQs that if you are overseas you have to apply overseas and it takes about 20 working days. I am in Florida and was told by the Jamaican consulate in Miami which handles Florida that they do not expedite and the process takes approx 6 weeks. "Life's Journey" the Jamaican Driver's license does have a picture on it and always has and in the AOS package I submitted a copy of my visa and I-94 and a letter stating that I lost my current passport. Thanks a lot. You were both very helpful and eased my mind a lot.

Harpa Timsah I will ask "Just Bob". Thank you for suggestions. Your advice was very helpful as well and eased my worries a lot.

Vanessa & Tony Thank you very much. I am a female so I will definitely take my marriage license. I have to use what I have and then apply for my passport later.

And in your original post you stated you lost your Passport "a couple months ago" so didn't you had plenty of time to get a new one by now?

How the heck someone loses a passport one of the most important documents in this whole process is beyond my immigination.. but then not to take immediate steps to replace it is even more baffling.

USCIS is not your third grade teacher and you can't go to appointments and say, "my dog ate my homework". :bonk:

When we went to the biometrics appointment, the lad in front of us was unable to even find his passport and brought his drivers license. The lady checking everyone in went to ask her supervisor, and came back just a moment later with no issue.

"Used to be Broken" I always wonder why people who have nothing but bad things to say even bother to post. Everyone else was so helpful and you responded just to be insulting. I really don't care about your opinion and since you don't know anything much about me or what happened you should not judge and keep your insults to yourself. People are worried enough when they come on here and are looking for help. the last thing they need is someone like you.

To "LB & PC" thank you so much and to Chezzy thank you for letting me know what you went through.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my biometrics appointment went well. I took my expired, cancelled passport; my Jamaican driver's license; my expired us driver's license and my marriage certificate along with my appointment notice. I gave them all three forms of Id and they asked for my marriage certificate. They checked off my documents with a form I had filled in and gave me a number. I was the first in line and was out in less than 10 minutes. What a relief! Just one more step to go!

Thanks again to everyone that gave advice. I slept a lot better because of all of you :-)
