help with port of entry

hello guys.. just a question, need answers pls.. i have a flight from manila to dallas, texas.. may flight is manila to guam, guam to tokyo, tokyo to houston, houston to dallas.. what is my port of entry? is it guam or houston texas? there's only 2 hours stop over in guam. thank you!!

It depends if your change plans from domestic to international in which have to go through customs but I don't know how it's in Guam but when I went to Tokyo and then Dallas then Dallas was my POE.

thats an odd one, Guam would be the POE. However you are then flying back out of country to japan? Usually its Guam to Hawaii, or la, then to houston. I hope others can answer this one better. Good Luck

continental has 2 routes of choices. either guam to hawaii, then houston.. and guam to tokyo, then houston.. and my flight is guam to tokyo, then houston.. from this flight, ill go to the US territory (guam), then out of the US again (tokyo), then going in to the US (houston) again.. for sure, when i get to houston, ill be arriving to their international terminal.. but i still get confuse of which port of entry is it since most who had flight from manila-guam-hawaii-houston had guam as their port of entry..

I would think guam will be your poe and houston will be where you do customs. I have never been to guam though to know how the airport is laid out. Hopefully someone has gone on this route and can give confirmation.

My wife went guam-hawaii-anchorage.

Your routing is kinda messed up, hope you will get a good deal. I would imagine it would add quite a few hours to your trip since you are back tracking some.

please correct me if i am wrong, but a k-1 visa is only good for 1 entry into usa. this flight would require her to enter 2 times, which she can not do!!

I agree, this could be a serious problem, I flew back from PI in Oct. Guam to hawai. Had to get off the plane in Guam and pass through imigration, then got back on the same plane and continued on.

Since this flight is going on to japan you may not need to go through immigration at Guam. But I wouldnt get on the plane until I was absoluetly sure what was going to happen.

I'd change my route if I were you and do the Guam, Hawaii, Houston route. That's the route we took. Guam was our POE and Hawaii was where we went through customs. It was really easy and quick even though we only had 2 hours. The officer was friendly, and my wife was there for probably 5 minutes since it was so early in the morning. I agree with the others; I would be concerned about entering U.S. territory, leaving, and then re-entering.
