I had seen Serco replying to my e-mails. It is a US BPO company-contracted with US government and other organazations. It does have its call centres in India.

From my calling experience to NVC, I believe the call center that serves NVC is in US.

I do not want to discourage everyone here. I believe sending e-mail will not work. We need to send some kind of campaign that immongrationvoice did in July 2007 Visa Bulletin Fiasco. This way we can bring the ISSUES to their face instead of e-mailing.

Seocnd thought is people around DC could visit after establishing the contact with Aides to Congressman Lamar Smith/One in the Senate, and discuss our case. The least we could ask for reintating "V" Visas or allow our spouses to come under visitor Visas.

I do not see any major overhaul in immigration under this President nor Democratic controlled Senate who is happy to support Illegal immigration than Republicans who support LEGAL immigration.

Just my 2 cents.

Exactly this is what i am talking about...if the movement is just going to be three to six weeks, its going to take way to long to get

to our priority dates....is there any way to send email to mr president for immigration reforms stating that they are many in this category who are suffering and away from their loved ones..they could start V visa system for greencard holders which they issued before dec 2000.

"The V visa is a temporary visa available to spouses and minor children (unmarried, under 21) of U.S. lawful permanent residents (LPR, also known as green card holders). It allows permanent residents to achieve family unity with their spouses and children while the immigration process takes its course. It was created by the Legal Immigration Family Equity Act of 2000, The Act is to relieve those who applied for immigrant visas on or before December 21, 2000. Practically, the V visa is currently not available to spouses and minor children of LPRs who have applied after December 21, 2000"

if they start v visa atleast we will be united with our family..i dont understand where wife of H1B category can stay in usa with his husband on a dependent visa, y cant the same apply to green card holders( infact greencard holders are lawful permanent residents" i wish to take this matter to mr president but i need many like you all to raise your voice for the same...

No my friend....dont ask for V visa .....it is worthless for us bcaz it applies to the cases whose waiting period is more than 3 years....and ours can be just equal to 3 year...so dont ever ask for V visa....

Just ask for full allotment of our f2a quota....and that is 88000 visas....and we can bring our spouse within 1 year or max 2 year in usa....So just fight for full allotment and that can have some sense also...bcaz if they think, it can bring some good news to all f2a.....

and i like ur idea of doing something which was done in the 2007....i totally agree with you...

yeaa exactly they shld reinstate the v visa but how do we contact the congressman or congresswoman being outside usa...

and how do we make sure the concern is noticed by mr president...

I have been mentioning about meeting in person or some sort of action that makes an impact. Emails do not work. We shud do something creative if we want things to move in the right direction.

yep.....we should meet them in person and just ask for full allotment of visas to f2a.....and one more thing here few people still thinking we should not do anything. I think they are happy with three year waiting time and 20% allotment of visas.... We should ignore them..

my friend....huh..usa is facing very few issues....I have seen countries facing severe issues even concerning their seurity and soverinity still they are giving importance to other issues....so dont talk political language...we are not politicians though we know their characteristics....we just want to convey the message and ask for full allotment of visas and that is not big deal...friend just trust yourself and then trust on others.....god helps only those who helps themselves.....i think that should clear your doubt.....thanks friend

Guys, this is a common place to share our valid thoughts, not a fighting club. It is better to ignore rather convince.Anyways, I live in Washington DC. I can go in person and hand over our request letter. Please let me know whom should I give and address.
