This is what my email said:

"The status of this service request is:

Thank you for your inquiry. We have corrected the name for the beneficiary on your I-129F receipt notice. We apologize for the error on your notice and any inconvenience it may have caused you. You should receive an amended receipt notice within 30 days."

They didn't put my fiances name in the email at all. So until I get the amended letter I really don't know if they actually fixed the name or not. :(

Hey had the same issue where they transposed my middle initial and first name.. They sent an email and I used that as my notice. Dont sweat an actual letter when I spoke to them they told me they do not send an actual letter out unless you request. I chose not to get one.

Tell me about it... Nov 19 will mark 2 months. It has been one of those days today; weather is good, day going great but missing my fiancé dearly :( had to air it out at the beach that always helps and of course chatting with my baby :)

Lord, help us to practice the skill that we will need when we become husband and wives, that of patience. Patience is a blessing that turns into a virtue!

Two months down, a lifetime to go!

Lets go September!!!!

One of the harder things for me is the time difference. 15 hours now between Central US and Japan and plus her and I are both working so the amount of time we get to talk to each other is very small. Really makes waiting suck... :( But at least we get to see each other in December and then hopefully NOA2 isn't long afterwards. :)

I have a question; I'll be in Nigeria for 2 months starting Jan 30th. In the event that we haven't received our NOA2 before I leave, do I need to submit a change of address form while I'm in Nigeria? Suggestions?

That's a good question. I'm interested in knowing as well. I plan on going to Nigeria as well in January for about a month. It makes it so hard to decide and plan when patiently waiting for 'NOA2... Don't know whether to travel or wait?

You can travel but make sure someone at your US address calls you when the NOA2 arrives. You can also check the status online everyday while in Nigeria
