The thing that bothers me is after looking at Igor's list I see there's obviously a handfull of September filers left yet the majority of people getting approved now are October filers. I mean where is that stack of September filers sitting going untouched.

I think part of the delay is from completing background checks, they check both parties. Once the computer spits out the OK then its time to "touch" the file one day.

They check both parties? I didn't think that was the case, and if it is I'm sure the name problems with my application can certainly screw that up. I just want my NOA2 T_T...

Well add another one to the September filers who have not had a touch, glance, glimpse, or anything else since the NOA1. :( We are trying to be patient, but good grief this is going slowly.

We still haven't got our NOA2. We sent our RFE reply Feb 13th, and never received any sort of indication that they received it. We sent a second one on Feb 24th with significantly more stuff - and with delivery confirmation so I can see they received it Friday, Feb 25th. Has anyone else done this? I feel so behind of all the other September filers. :(

I'm a little worried at this point that they aren't capable of cleverly being able to sort through stuff. I've read so many stories about them losing documents and proof, etc. etc. that I am concerned they will misplace our RFE responses. The due date on the RFE response is March 31st - so I am getting nervous.

Be happy you're at the vermont service center. They seem to be pretty ahead of the others. For example, over at CSC they're still working on AUGUST. :\

I haven't heard anything like this before, but be patient, don't be worry. Remember that they keep working on other cases and when you rfe response reach to them, they put your case back in track and For example: it's like to make a line to buy something, if your move from your place you will lose your place in the line and u have to start all over (That doesn't mean that you have to wait 5 month is just a little more time). That's what happen with people who recieved a RFE. They can't wait for you to response and they keep working in other packages, but when you rfe is done they put you back in track. But trust me, your case is back in track. Don't play "what if" be sure that maybe is getting delay but is coming. Keep checking you case on USCIS with your receipt number. That's how I found out we were approved.

I know it sucks but you will recieve your Noa2 very soon in the name of God.

God bless and keep waiting

It is surprising they are still working on August at CSC! I can relate that it sure is frustrating when you're past the 5 month mark.

We called today and they confirmed they only received the 2nd package, which is totally fine since it was the bigger one with more stuff. However, we never received any e-mail notification that it was received, and the status hasn't been updated since Jan 4th when the RFE was sent out. I still don't feel convinced that it is attached to the file. :( I wish the workers were more uniform in the way they processed each application, in that every time an update to the file takes place, it is noted. Our file hasn't been touched since Jan 4th either! And if they received it and reunited it with the file... shouldn't that be a touch? :S

I hope you are right and we do hear something soon....
