First of all I want to thank visajourney. I has beed a big help. I have two questions 1. We got our I-94 and wonderfully got married, the I-94 expires in 2 weeks, is that a problem.

2. We ( right after getting marrried ) filed the I-485 ( AOS ) parperwork as well as a whole slew of others. Well, we just a note saying it is being transfered to Calf. Is this normal, they said to speed it up ( process ) We sent out the Paperwork in March 2011. Also, is this a long time?

THank you very much

It's very normal to be transferred to CSC. That usually means you will not have an interview. Now that your AOS paperwork has been accepted for processing, you are in a NEW period of authorized stay, so the I-94 date no longer matters at all. Your NOA1 is proof of legal presence. Remember not to leave the country until you have your temporary travel permission, the Advance Parole. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

We were transferred to CSC but still had an interview. Not a big deal. But I would caution not leave, unless really necessary, until you have your GC.

Something doesn't add up here. You said I-94 is about to expire and you filed AOS in March 2011? If you really filed in March then your I-94 expired months ago. You probably mean expiry date on visa, but visa actually exired at POE. Either way, you're good, just don't leave the country without AP or GC.

My Immigration Journey:

K1: June 2010 - December 2010

AOS: April 2011 - June 2011

ROC: April 2013 - August 2013

Naturalization: March 2014 - August 2014
