Hi All,

I have a dilemma. I have filed at VSC to remove conditional residency in March 11, 2011 and tomorrow on September 11, 2011, it's going to be 6 month. I got my fingerprint done and everything. I am just waiting for an approval to be done with. Now the question is that I want to go out of country in October for about 2 months. Should I go or not? If by any change I get an Interview in the interim I am out of country, do I have to come back or I can request to re-schedule my appointment? Please give me some advice.

Thanks.

I personally think it is irresponsible to go out of the country for 2 months during this process. IF you simply MUST (and not simply WANT) then make sure someone checks your mail and notifies you if you get an appointment letter. If you do, then you need to be prepared to come back immediately. If you cannot do that then don't go. Trying to change the dates of interviews can be difficult and cause problems. Things can fall through the cracks. USCIS is NOT good at accomodating your individual needs, they are much better when you accomodate theirs.
