I again have a doubt.

I called NVC and was told that the case has been forwarded to Mumbai consulate on Oct 21, 2011. We had applied for expediting our case and they have accepted it. Now in their email telling us that our case has been expedited, they said that we should direct all our questions regarding interview dates and processing to the Mumbai consulate. We have not been given an interview date yet. I am under the impression that the NVC schedules the interview and then forwards the case to Mumbai. What should I do? Should we be calling the Mumbai consulate to schedule our interview?

2011-03-28 I-130 NOA1

2011-07-19 I-130 Approved

2011-08-01 NVC Received

2011-09-19 Receive Instruction Package

2011-09-30 Case Completed at NVC

2011-10-19 Applied to expedite case

2011-10-21 NVC Left

2011-10-31 Consulate Received

2011-11-29 Interview Date
