Anyone who has petitioned for a Russian woman have an estimate on how long it takes to go from NVC to the consulate? I received notice via phone that my case was forwarded on Sept. 7 2006 and still no word from Moscow or any sign they have received the case. I called this morning and they are going to do an official inquiry. Anyone with an idea please let me know. I checked the appointment schedule and I found the 3 cases numbered before mine and 3 cases numbered after mine but my case was nowhere to be seen.

It was only on the 7th; be patient, sometimes those things can take weeks to show up in a different system.

I'll tell you a story; when I applied for my permanent resident visa here in the UK, the Home Office lost my passport which delayed the visa for weeks. Eek! But it all worked out in the end, and so will this.
