The Top 50 Best Jobs

Interesting to see the difference in salaries...

Anyone got any recommendation for an ideal job???

I cannot believe 'sales' managers earn that much for talking ######..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

umm.. Bram is Real estate appraiser and I dont think he earn that much - yet anyway.. there's soooooo many class and training he have to do and now he is still a trainee so he get paid only like 50% each time. also pay his own gas and lots of driving.. but I think it's great anyway.. I thought about it once but Bram said it's difficult to get somebody to train you coz nobody wants to train a competitor

Well, I'm a Telecommunications Sales Account Executive (which means I sell business phone systems and associated data equipment) and I enjoy it very much. Because I'm outside sales I get to not be chained to my desk, I get to meet a lot of people and I enjoy helping small businesses, which is the sector I work in. I also get a good amount of latitude as long as I'm making numbers. The downsides: I'm quota'd, and I work some pretty odd hours sometimes.

Other than that, I happen to think my job is pretty much ideal - for me! Not everyone is an a-hole sales person ;)

Why are there no teachers on that list??

America has to start paying these guys more instead of college professors with their BS conspiracy theories..

Rey is #1 and I'm #19. I will enjoy this and try desperately to ignore the meaninglessness of the rankings.

Telecommunications is an exciting field. I did quite a bit of work for Telstra back home..

My job's not on the list. It never is. :(

I think so - the way it's changing is exciting. Because I work in SMBS I see a lot of key systems, but the development of the P2P small systems as pretty neat. I sell mainly Avaya, but also Mitel.
