I am a K3 holder, applying for AoS. As part of my AoS application, I provided a copy of my current I-94 which is stapled to my passport.

I'm travelling back to the UK this week for a family visit. When I do so, I assume, my I-94 will be removed and I will get another when I return. The replacement will have a different serial number from the first.

Does anyone know what I do afterwards - do I need to inform USCIS of my new I-94 number, and if so, will it slow my application? Or should I just keep shtum?

Worried now :(

Since a K3 can travel, then I'd like to think it wouldn't make any difference since your A# will stay the same. When you complete your AOS they'll just remove the last I94 from your passport. Seems normal to me.

Except the I-94 number I have in my passport will no longer tally with the I-94 number I supplied to USCIS.

See I'm not sure that the K-3 makes a difference here. K-3 allows me to come and go - which is brill of course - but it's a separate entity from AoS.

I'd like to know what the USCIS rule is on keeping the I-94 number up to date in an AoS application, but I cannot see it.

Has anyone come across this info before?

Johnny Spangle,

Part of the adjustment interview will be dedicated to a review of the I-485. All information will be confirmed and brought up to date as may be necessary.

Enjoy your trip.

I would take a photocopy of your current 1-94 (if you haven't already), front and back, just in case. But I wouldn't really worry too much about it. I'm sure you're not the first person to go visit (as the K3 allows) and get a new 1-94. :)

Have a fun visit!

yep agree with the rest...

get a copy of the one in your passport now then when you get back, copy the new totake with you to your interview (even though they will take it - I would just want to keep copies of everything)

I 130 & I129F (K3) and AOS info in timeline
