It just depends on your Service Center . Maybe they are filled with Boimetrics appointments prior to yours . .

When was your NOA dated? My biometrics will be at the same location as yours as I live in that state. Just wondering why I still haven't got mine and I found a few applicants with the same NOA date as mine and they all got their bio appointments :/

Did they say they would do anything about it?!

Apparently you need to wait 30 days before filing a complaint or inquiry as to why you haven't received the notice. Their standard reply to "what if it's lost in the mail" is that it would be returned to them and they would send it back. Of course that doesn't cover all the possibilities but that's all they would say. I asked whether they could send me another copy and the staffer said no.

Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter anymore as I have the biometrics notice now.

Dec 05, 2011: Received U.S. permanent resident status (AOS based on K-1 visa)

Dec 16, 2013: Removal of conditions on green card

Apr 28, 2015: Became a U.S. Citizen

I filed with my lawyer. Does USCIS send biometrics appointment letter to both lawyer and applicant? Or just the applicant?

Mailed my application on Sept 13, USPS proof of delivery was dated Sept 15. I only received email/txt message from USCIS yesterday, Sept 29. When I look at my case status online, it said that they received my application on Sept 15. I am expecting to see the date on the I-797 to be Sept 15.

I have already been interviewed by a potential employer and they are willing to wait until I get my EAD/GC. In either case, is there a way to request for an expedite processing if they don't want me to be a burden then I'd like to get to work asap.

hi there potsy! we have a lawyer too! Your lawyer gets a copy of all documents sent to you by the USCIS. What you get is a personal copy and a duplicate copy is received by your lawyer. So that means that your lawyer gets all communication too. =)

If you check your status online and read through the notice online, biometrics is usually done 30 days after NOA. The appointment letter comes 2 weeks before the said biometrics appointment date. I'm surprised that a lot of people get it earlier...

I wish we get ours soon... :)
