RFE documents received and under review: 13th January 2012

I-485 transferred to California Service Center: 23rd January 2012

EAD in production: 25th January 2012

EAD in hand: 4th February 2012 (128 days after filing)

Green Card approved (Without interview): 6th March 2012

Green Card in hand: 12th March 2012

Green cards arrived yesterday, 3/24. Five months, take away one to respond to RFE.

Thank God we can rest the brain, nerves, and pocketbook for a couple of years now :dance:

That's a great news.. Finallly some action going on. I am Oct/11 filer and still waiting. Do you have any idea what happened to your case, as to why it took so long to process.

It seems some of our cases which were transferred to CSC for faster processing taking a long time.

While you were waiting for green card approval, did you renewal your EAD card?

Wow September and October 2011 filers just now getting cards. Then I see people now that are waiting just a few months. I'm so glad I got our congresswoman and senator involved to give a push for my wife's green card. We were November 2011 filers, and got her card in August. Just in time to renew her passport when her embassy had an outreach program in our city for renewals. I thought the 8 month wait was bad enough, but over a year is crazy.
