Hey friends. I was wondering, when the uscis sent us the interview letter, the interview wilm be in how long? 2...3 weeks later or longer????

I still have faith that i will get my letter anytime, and if God helps get the interview before december 31 :)

That's highly unlikely - typically it is at least 3 weeks or more - they want to make sure you have enough time. Also unlikely they will be a lot of going on between xmas and New Year....

Had the interview on Dec 7 and received approval. Got a text and email later that night saying the card is in production!

Congrats! :D

Ready to respond to RFE. I will send the new package to USCIS tomorrow...*sigh*

Ah, hec...sorry about the RFE. Just send it what they need and you'll be on your way! Good luck.

Hello all! I have been neglecting VJ for some time, just stopped by to say we filed our AOS originally in August but got an RFE and sent it back to be received on September 20th. He had his fingerprints taken shortly before teh RFE even came, so we are in the process of waiting for any kind of communication as it creeps towards 70 days past our RFE receipt.

Called USCIS many a time and they told us to wait until Dec 21st to call back. If we don't hear anything we have to call and expedite things.

Hey everyone,

Yesterday I received notice of RFE. I really thought I was going to escape the RFE especially because our application was sent almost three months ago and I totally thought an RFE would be more likely before or right after biometrics (mine were done on Oct. 7). I still don't know what the RFE is about. I'm waiting now for the letter to see the details. I know it is regarding form I-485 so it could be on anything. Really hoping it's something simple and easy :(

I received a letter and excitedly opened it. Lo and behold, it's just a notice that they will process my case (EAD) within 60 days of the date of the letter. How come mine's taking so long? :(

Just hang in there. Everything will be okay. :) I suggest that you call them as soon as you go over the 3mos processing time from your priority date. I just dont understand why they just sent you a notice about processing your EAD 2 mos after your biometrics.

Well I called them last week asking about the status of my case. Then, the lady said I should hear something before or at Dec. 11, and I guess this is it. Damn it.

I hear ya. I seem to be slower than average on just about everything, even people who filed things on the same day and are from the same country. It's worse for you, I know. It's disheartening to see everyone around you moving along while you're stuck in the slow lane.
