Update on my progress... timeline updated

Got the EAD/AP combo card in the mail probably last week (was out-of-town for Thanksgiving). Letter was printed on 11/21 and sent on 11/22 through priority mail. The ID card shows "Employment Authorization Card" on top and below, it states "serves as I-512 Advance Parole".

Again, no email/text notifications for me even if I signed up for e-notifications. The only update I got through text/email was for NOA1. USCIS.gov did not update during the wait so I wasn't checking there. Visiting it just now showed the actual case status.

We are really hoping to hear something soon.. My cases "can't be found", also I never got those intial acceptance text msgs or emails even though I included the G-1145. Just kind of hoping the EAD will appear in the mailbox soon :)

It will...I know there are other people who couldn't access their case and also never received texts either, but they did indeed receive everything they were supposed to. It's strange how the system works, or doesn't, lol...but, as long as we get what we need, it's all good. Good luck with everything!

October 12, 2010 - NOA1 received!
October 15, 2010 - First "touch"
October 18, 2010 - Second "touch"
March 7, 2011 - NOA2!!!
March 18, 2011 - NVC forwarded our case to the Montreal Consulate....NOT where we wanted it to go!
March 25, 2011 - Email from Montreal saying that our case would be forwarded to Vancouver - only took one night for a reply from them smile.png
April 5, 2011 - Vancouver has our package!
April 6, 2011 - Received Packet 3 via email - now just waiting on my police certificate.
April 13, 2011 - faxed Packet 3 to Vancouver

Thank you!! Your luck must have done the trick because I just checked the case status for the EAD and it says Card Production Ordered! Finally some progress.. My husband was looking more forward to working more than anything! Good luck to you as well!

AOS was approved!! Interview was sooo easy. The guy was really friendly and pretty much said we were approved before we even sat down. He said, "I've been looking over your file, and seeing you guys - well, I'm a pretty good judge of character." He looked over our stuff again while he talked to us, made jokes, and just made us feel really comfortable. He asked us how we met, and how it progressed from there.

The best part was that he stamped my passport with an I-551 so that I could leave the country ad come back before I actually get my greencard in the mail. I'm going to visit my family in Canada, leaving Dec 14th, and we weren't sure that I'd have the greencard by then, so this will ensure that I can still travel :)

Painless and easy....thanks everyone for all your help along the way. I hope everyone else's goes this smooth.

Hey guys Sorry I haven't been on here lately, Im going through a rough break up :( But I am trying to keep my thoughts of that out of my head :)

I am really happy for all the interviews being approved. I still haven't received anything about my case. Its still at the NBC, no transfer no interview letter :/
