Question!

When they mailed aporoval notice of AP, do you actually get a seperate notice in the mail about the AP? Or you just get one notice for both EAD/AP after they mailed EAD approval?

Hi my dear VJ bros and sis!

Anyone has idea what I have to bring to my GC interview in 3rd week of Dec. I have our pre wedding photos, wedding signing ceremony photos at the county hall, our both casual and formal photos with his relatives and friends at home and at vacation trip, our joint bank account checks and statements, my school payment by his credit acc. Anything else? We don't have any other bill such as lease cause we are living with his sister family in 6 rooms house. His sister and bro-in-law is also co-sponsor of my AOS. I'm not sure what else to bring. I need you guys help

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have got their list of what I have to bring. But, I didn't do medical as I did my K1 visa medical within a year. I did summit my hubby's 3 years tax-refunds as well. Anyway, I will bring full my AOS package. I just worried about your evidence of our legal marriage. We don't have any insurance yet.

Since you don't have a lease you should try getting them to type up something and have it notarized, stating Sister and Bro-in-law are owners of said house and are renting out a room + shared use of common area to "you AND your husband" for X amount each month, util included etc. In a way, that also shows that you are living together at the same address because the 'lease' is out in both names.

Yes, not really a traditional lease, but it does account for your living situation and more evidence never hurts.

Ben received his EAD/AP combo card last night in the mail :thumbs: So happy...but I do have a question (tried to look here, but couldn't find what I was looking for)...The card expires in one year...even after AOS is approved and we receive the green card...do we "still" have to reapply for EAD/AP before this current card expires???:blink: Any feedback would be most appreciated. I apologize if this answer exists somewhere :)

Yes, we will definitely have a thread while going through ROC together...that works for me. :D
