LOL!!! I FEEL THE LOVE! haha. i got mine after 2 days of them sending off the EAD since you got it yesterday i would say sunday but they don't work sundays so hopefully monday latest!!! :D And i totally understand. I feel the same way. Im not married but I do want independence! I want to get a car :( But most of all, i want a job! hhaha

GREAT NEWS: I received the elusive PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD in the mail yesterday. :dance: :dance: :dance: I am so thankful that the journey has come to an end . I am so happy that my case was processed and approved so fast :thumbs: I wish to thanks all my fellow V.J members for their input and wish you guys all the best on your journey . I will see you in 2 yrs --but I will will still be active in this forum as I continue to share my experience . Good Luck and wish you guys a happy 2012. :thumbs:

I'm a September filer too and hoping to hear some more news soon. USCIS received my application on Sept. 26 and on Sept. 29 the case showed up online as under "initial review." My biometrics was scheduled on Oct. 21 but did a successful walk-in on Oct. 7. Since then, no news. I hope to have news on the EAD, AP or an interview appt. letter this coming week! I'm wondering if calling USCIS would give me a more detailed, updated status. Has anyone tried calling them to inquire on their status?

In my experience it did not help at all. They told me to call again when i reached the maximum days of the processing time and they can put a service request on my case. If your case is over the processing time then you should call to ask whats going on.

Yea me, I even got transferred to another lady that had more information and had access to more....but my case is still sitting at the NBC

So theoretically, I would have to wait three months (processing time for EAD) before I call. Although, by looking at other people's timelines, it seems that the EAD card arrives after about 2 months since the application is sent.

After 75 days you are eligible for a service request for your ead. I have read of one case where the lady was nice and initiated a service requested after 65 days but that is an exception.

Yes 60 days seems to be the mode right now but I got my notification around day 70.

You call the number on the bottom of your paper, the Uscis hotline number and you do it over the phone. Keep in mind I never actually got to say 75 so I don't know what happens when you start one. But supposedly they look into what's holding up your ead case. Good luck.
