Ok, so finally things feel like they are going right with this process!!!

After getting her EAD in the mail yesterday, Vanessa went out today and she got a FULL TIME JOB!!!!! :dance:

After all the length of time everything took, far longer than most on the K1 side of things and then thinking that this was going to be slow too, things have really worked out!

I hope everyone else has some really good luck come their way as well!!!!

Another UPDATE : Received another Text/email today that we are approved and will receive our Permanent Resident within 3 weeks . Post Decision Activity

On November 21, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS.

Also we received a mail today with our Welcome Letter. :dance:

Our Journey is finally coming to an end (atleast for another 2 yrs ) .Good luck to all my fellow V.J members .

Dec 05, 2011: Received U.S. permanent resident status (AOS based on K-1 visa)

Dec 16, 2013: Removal of conditions on green card

Apr 28, 2015: Became a U.S. Citizen

she applied in person. Right place at the right time. Someone had turned in their two weeks today and she came in shortly after! A very lucky situation and she's very grateful!

She's had her SSN since she moved here. We got that right away. The only thing she doesn't have is a state ID.

ahhh ok, well I'm happy for the both of you. I can see the stressful times you must have with just one income she might help out a little bit more and feel a little more independent. haha! Thats what I want! I never got a SSN# so I applied yesterday, hopefully it will arrive soon :D

You got it 3days after the 2nd card production? Not after the EAD

approval notice mailed update? I know some people here in VJ get update about EAD approval notice mailed and then they receive it 3days later.
