Does anyone know that USCIS has interpreter for ppl speak English as second language? I can communicate in English but I just worried that I might do some mistake due to my over excited :(

Congrats Richie Rich! :)

I have a question when you first got a txt/email notification about your EAD and AP. Did it says that they ordered card production on both EAD and AP?

Im just so confused. Cos when they updated mine its not the same. The EAD update says they ordered card production. And the AP update says they mailed approval notice.

Has this happened to anyone here? Please help me with my confusion. Thanks! :)

Uscis does not provide any interpreter services. If you are going to your interview(or whatever) --you have to walk with your interpreter . I know some people even had their Lawyer accompany them .

Pot121--Thanks for the congrats . Its the same for mine . We never received any Card production Text/Email for either of the EAD or AP. We just received approval text/emails for both .The Combo Card (EAD/AP) came in the mail about 1 week later .

I am thinking that since the EAD and AP is 1 combo card --they only send you a ''card production '' email for the EAD. Dont worry --it will arrive in the mail within 1-2 weeks . Good Luck on the remainder of your journey .

Just if anyone is interested - was adjusting from L-1, married on Sept10th, sent I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131 on Sep19th, received EAD/AP approval ~week ago, had interview at USCIS Cincinnati office yesterday (approved) and once got back home found EAD/AP combo card in mailbox (don't really need it but looks nice :) ).

Anyway - took 2 months for entire process.

Good News, my sister was able to get her social security number set up. The lady said shed be getting her card in the mail in 1 week.........hopefully that the case for me too, they told me 2 weeks lol..

OH! and I forgo to mention something the lady who did mine yesterday told me. She said that USPS won't deliver the social security cards most of the time if the mailboxes don't have the name of the person. I live in an apartment complex and the mailboxes don't have that slot o put names on so i wrote both my sisters and my name on a piece of paper and taped it. lol. I just wanted to share that with all of you since I have read a lot of peoples bad experiences with them not getting their cards in the mail

Thats not true as mine got delivered without my name being on the mail box.

Another UPDATE : Received another Text/email today that we are approved and will receive our Permanent Resident within 3 weeks . Post Decision Activity

On November 21, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS.

Also we received a mail today with our Welcome Letter. :dance:

Our Journey is finally coming to an end (atleast for another 2 yrs ) .Good luck to all my fellow V.J members .

Thats not true as mine got delivered without my name being on the mail box.

Well, yeah I m sure some get mailed but thats why I mentioned most of the time......the lady i guess didn't want me to take a risk, which was nice of her :)

but you must have applied for ap also not just EAD lol
