UPDATE : GOOD NEWS-I received a Text/ Email from USCIS -Decision

On November 17, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. :lol: :dance:

That is an APPROVAL for I-485 . I am so happy that our journey is coming to an end . I think I am one of the few Sept 2011 Filers that is approved so fast . Just hang in there . Thanks to all my fellow VJ members .

Not to add more confusion to the fire, but to my understanding...

Yes, AP and EAD is a combo card, so it is one physical item.

If they ordered Card production today they couldnt have mailed it out today.

So based upon my own experience (and i never did apply for AP, only ead and aos), I was issued a card production for the ead on the 8th. then on the 14th, i received ANOTHER card production for my ead again. (idk why), 15th, i received an approval notice (which i have read means its been mailed).

You can interpret that however you wish lol, sorry.

as for your address questions, i am unsure as I did not change my address during my process.

Yea its kinda confusing. Cos one is approved and one is in production and its one combo card! Well I hope I get it soon!

I have a question, on the social security application, what would i put on the part that says citizenship:

1. I know its not US CITIZEN

2. Legal alien authorized to work (I received an alien number when i applied for AOS but does that make me "legal"?)

3. legal alien not allowed to work .....i know it can't be this one

4. other**

Should I x on other and provide the EAD?

Citizenship --PERU.

You are a Legal Alien (based on your current immigration status (F1)) NOT allowed to work unless you receive your EAD or Green Card .

P.S : Now that you have the EAD -your status is Legal Alien authorized to work .

Im really happy for those who's getting some good news. But i cant stay quiet and not tell how mad i am with the uscis. Mennn, they should treat everybody the same. I had FP oct 13 and nothing yet. I also see others that had FP earlier then me and also havent heard anything. And then we see this frienda getting ead 15-20 days after fp? Owww thats not fair ;((

I have got my interview date by email just now. It will be on 22nd Dec. Pray hard for me, my dear fellow September filers!!! No news for EAD and AP yet.

Congrats on yr interview . Most of the persons who applied for AOS from K1 had their case transfered to California Service Center for faster processing (without an interview) --as in my wife AOS petition . Good luck on yr interview .
