Haha, just after you posted this I checked online and they just approved my AP today too, just didn't receive a separate notification for it. Yay!

Good for you! :thumbs: I have no update in my AP until now.. and my EAD hasn't arrive yet in the mail :unsure:

June 7, 2010 - Will asked me to marry him, and I said YES!!
October 4, 2010 - Will sent away the I-129F Petition
October 12, 2010 - NOA1 received!
October 15, 2010 - First "touch"
October 18, 2010 - Second "touch"
March 7, 2011 - NOA2!!!
March 18, 2011 - NVC forwarded our case to the Montreal Consulate....NOT where we wanted it to go!
March 25, 2011 - Email from Montreal saying that our case would be forwarded to Vancouver - only took one night for a reply from them smile.png
April 5, 2011 - Vancouver has our package!
April 6, 2011 - Received Packet 3 via email - now just waiting on my police certificate.

Tomorrow will mark 30 days after FP, and still no response!

I'm getting discouraged thinking that i will not get my interview still this year :( Is taking so long :(

You had your biometric 10 days after me, so I think you will get your EAD within 2 weeks. Hang in there! :thumbs:

wait i don't get it. if they send you a card production text/email, why would they need to wait and then send you an approval notice and THEN another one for the actual mailing? does that mean i still have to wait for the other 2 notices?

Thanks!!! I don't get it at first too :lol: but a member here told me it's usually the case, the first notification is the actual approval date then they would send another update, the last one would be really the actual mailing. I believe its merely informing you of the date they mail the card... at least for us who came here with a K1 visa.

I bet yours will be in the mailbox this week! :yes:

ahhh ok. Ugh, yeah I really do hope I get it in the mail this week. Bad thing is I don't think they worked Friday, nor Saturday , nor Sunday, so those 3 days are lost. I want to work already. Thank goodness I applied for the EAD though, I was about to not do it.

Hello everyone and limenaluv91,

I just want to say thank you for continuing posting your personal updates on you AOS journey. I have been following everyone since I'm also a September filer but haven't logged in to comment. - I know, I should of done it - But I have been feeding everyone's good energy and also hope we finish this waiting game before Christmas and New Year's. I'm posting Two Timelines. The firs was for the K-1 Visa and the second one is for K-2 Visa.

The K-1 process went smooth 76 Days and we were done. Now we are in the process of the K-2 Visa and the waiting is killing me since there is no Updates on the USCIS website since they received the package. But I know that they are not that good at updating their website. So, I'm keeping my thoughts positive. However, the only thing that bothers me is that maybe because of the redesign of the EAD card that started on October 30th is going to make the wait longer since this is going to be a new process for them. I just hope it doesn't affect the waiting time.
