Hi all, just want to update you on our case.

I didn't receive NOA for I-485, though I received it for AP and EAD. However, I did get email and text notification for all 3, and have done biometrics earlier this month.

So I called USCIS 2 days ago (more than 30 days after filing) and told them about not receiving the NOA for my I-485. I was transferred to a second tier officer, and she put in a referral for me to receive a duplicate copy of the NOA which she claims had been sent along with the other 2 (most likely lost in transit?) She said I should receive it within the next 2 weeks.

I asked her whether I would actually need that hardcopy at any point in the process and she said it's a good idea to have it for my records.

Hi guys pls help as i need to do this asap.

I'm trying to file form AR-11 online. It wont let me leave a blank.

What should I put on " I work or Attend School at"?

I don't work right now. Should I put the last place where I worked before?

What should I put on "if not a permanent resident my stay in US expires on?"

I put the expiration date on my visa which had expired already. And it wont accept date on the past. And I can't leave it blank.

Please help me!!!

Thanks in advance.

Hello! I had the same case. On the system according to the lady, my EAD was on my maiden name but my I-485 was under my married name but for the fingerprinting, they used my maiden name. They told me to schedule for an infopass and bring a marriage certificate to correct it. I decided not to go anyway since if it's just the EAD, I think it's fine that it's in maiden name since it will be replaced by a green card at some point.

If your GC comes out to be in your maiden name, I think you have a right to have that corrected most especially if all of your NOAs reflected your married name. I would not pay for a change of name for my GC that would cost $300+ when I have included all documents to support why I changed my name.

Done with my biometrics appointment today! But the lady who assisted me said that she will use my maiden name since thats the name on my passport which i used to show as a form of identification. I did not bring our marriage certificate. What is gonna happen on my EAD? All of my NOA's are under my married name. The lady said to call USCIS and tell them about my name changing. But they already know since I filed with my married name. Any advice?

One more thing. I applied for I-485 and EAD and AP. But on my Appointment notice it only shows I-485 and I-765. How about my I-131/AP? Does that mean they are not processing it? I got my NOA also for my I-131.

Please help
