SOOOO HAPPY! Husband did walk-in biometrics in Santa Ana, CA today... SUCCESSFUL!!

I'd read horrible stories on VJ about the guards in Santa Ana... looks like we really lucked out and got the nice one!

In and out in about 40 minutes.

Successful walk in biometrics at seattle today!! Ours was supposed to be due on the 4th of november but we made it today!! :)

Husband and I (Our AOS Journey) :


  • Sept 10 === Sent aos, ap, ,ead docs
  • Sept 15 === Received by uscis nebraska service center
  • Sept 20 === NOA
  • Sept 24 === Hard copies received for EAD, AP, and AOS
  • Oct 17 === Biometrics appointment in Seattle received dated Nov. 3 at 10 am
  • Oct 21 === Walk in biometrics succesful!!
  • Nov. 3 === EAD and AP approved (no notices received)
  • Nov. 6 === Email notification received for EAD and AP approval....
  • Nov. 7 === Email notification EAD mailed
  • Nov. 9 === EAD AP Combo Card received!!!!!

I did my Biometrics on 10/21/11. It only took less than 30 mins in the Office at New Orleans . The drive to get there was longer --4 hrs :lol: Now all we can do is to wait it out and hope for a speedy processing and approval .Good luck guys and keep posting .

Thanks . I live in North Florida and had to go to New Orleans (Lousiana ) -2 states away :lol: . It was fun --we made a good trip out of it . Only the driving wa tiring .I am happy that is out of the way .

I will pray that you get approved without an interview and that everything goes smoothly for you. :) That would be a really long drive and it's just too much. I assume we would have to go to Newark (my best guess), and that's only about 45 minutes away. At least you made a nice "day trip" out of it, lol. Not like you had much of a choice :blush: I am also hoping that we get approved without an interview as well (praying really hard for that). I had enough stress with the visa interview at the Nairobi Embassy (God, they are SO TOUGH)...omgggggg. I honestly think I drove Ben up the wall and down the other side with worrying about all of that. :blink: The thought of another interview doesn't exactly excite me. You worry about so much because we know all too well that anything is possible - it was stressful...I am so grateful that part is over and done with...very frustrating, and my husband never curses :help: , lol, and I've got the mouth of a drunken sailor, hahahaha. So I had to wait until he'd walk away then I'd mumble this and that under my breath :devil: LOL
