Thank you for inviting us to join this thread. My wife's AOS was filed on September 27th, and USCIS logged our applications on September 30th.

On October 3rd, we received 3 separate emails and 3 separate text messages each for her I-485, I-131, and I-765 forms.

Our bank shows USCIS cashed our check on October 3rd.

We wish all September filers smooth AOS sails!! :)

I think it depends on your service center! Where do you live? And, where is your service center? It might be on its way to you

Hey everyone! I filed for my husbands aos on Sep. 27th. From others I got the idea that they update you with the text from the g-1145 the same time they cash the check.. not worried though, got a whole few months to wait for things.. besides, not like stressing makes them move any faster :)

that was easy. No one at the "Application Support Center" at all today and we were in and out in less than 5 mins!

Now we just wait for the EAD / GC to come in the mail! Wheeeeeeeee! :dance:

What happens if you do walk-in biometrics?

Some people say it doesn't help but I think it does. Name checks happen right after fingerprints from what I have heard. I know that it's not a reliable source but I do believe it helps. Why wouldn't it? :)
