That works! I really thank you for your positive attitude. I hope o get it soon, I am praying all of this will be over with by December. I don't want to miss the deadline for signing up for college :/ although I heard you can take out a SSN with the EAD?

I already have my SSN . . . i applied for it two weeks after i got here.

10/06/2011 ~ Received hardcopy of AOS CSC Transfer Notice.. 9:45 pm Updated!

10/07/2011 ~ Biometrics walk in SUCCESSFUL!!!

11/02/2011 ~ EAD Card/Document Production

11/07/2011 ~ EAD updated

11/08/2011 ~ EAD Post Decision Activity

11/12/2011 ~ EAD/AP card on hand!!!

02/02/2012 ~ RFE for lost medical and divorce decree, got the notice on Feb. 9, 2012

OMG I JUST GOT MY BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT LETTER IN MY MAIL!!!!! RIGHT NOW!!!! its dated 28 september, and my appointment is on the 26th of October, but Im going to attempt a walk in tomorrow! wish me luck guys!!!

March 18, 2011 - NVC forwarded our case to the Montreal Consulate....NOT where we wanted it to go!
March 25, 2011 - Email from Montreal saying that our case would be forwarded to Vancouver - only took one night for a reply from them smile.png

April 6, 2011 - Received Packet 3 via email - now just waiting on my police certificate.

Hey no problem! At the bottom of the RFE letter, there should be a list of documents that they want you to send them. How about you send me what they said, and that will help out more :). If it's just proof of their status, then I would send in copies of their birth certificates and/or passports.

Thanks a lot for explaining :thumbs: We found that they want the same from us - the copy of Birth Certificate of joint sponsor

Did my scheduled biometrics today, piece of cake ! Just bring certifucate of marriage, letter and passport. Sent AOS in the beginnig of September and cant wait to have my EAD and greencard in card, so tired of staying home lol :P Gluck everyone !

I think its a local office, I'm not sure. But that means you're getting closer either way! Congrats! :dance:

Louisiana. It's sad to know that almost everybody who filed at the beginning of the SEP got their biometrics letter. Some has the same notice date as mine. It sucks. :/

USCIS received mine sep 9 and dated sep 14. When is the 30days of my application? Is it on Oct 9 or Oct 14? So I can call them about this.

Do you need a specific reason for doing a walk-in instead of keeping the scheduled appointment? Or can anyone give it a shot?
