Can I send photocopies of i-864A? and question about 221g

So my wife was requested to send joint sponsors i-864A through courier services. It will take time if I fill out an i864-A and post it to her ...can take upto 15-20 days through mail. Is it okay if I scan the i-864A and she can print it out over there? It would be like a photocopy but will the embassy accept it?

Also has anyone here received a 221g with a blue form here during an interview because of a missing documentation? Can you tell me how long did it take you after you submitted the required documentation to get another call from them? Thanks

Also, am i supposed to mail this stuff to courier services, or can i hand them in in-person?

Send the saved PDF form and she can print and sign it and submit. Once they receive it, it may be done in 7 - 10 days.
