Good Morning All,

I have a quick question, Do I need to send photograph to show evidence of our relationship when filing the I-130 or should I put the pictures together for the interview? My package is complete just need to finish this query.

NO. You do not need to show any pictures other than the passport pics they ask for you to include. Some people do send pictures at this stage but I had asked the same question in the past and was told it was not necessary. That is most important at the interview stage.

I-130 Sent: 7/9/11

NOA1 : 7/14/11

I-129F Sent: 7/21/11

NOA1: 7/21/11

NOA2: 8/22/11

NVC Received: 8/24/11

NVC Left: 8/26/11

Consulate Received: 9/5/11

Packet 4 Received: 10/4/11

Medical Done: 11/7/11

Interview: 11/23/11

Approved: 11/23/11

Changed to CR1: 12/16/11

Medical Re-Done: 1/5/12

Waiting for Issuance of Visa.........

I suggest that you send 5 pictures with your I-130 - we all did.

Yes, at interview we may have to show more pictures - but first thing is to get a quick I-130 approval.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

I didn't send any photographs when I sent the initial form just the passport photos they requested.

Packet sent - 02-2011

Initial Approval NOA 04-06-2011

Approved- 07-08-2011

AOS Fee bill Rec'd- 08-14-2011

Payed AOS fee- 08-15-2011

Processing Fee Rec'd 09-01-2011

Processing Fee Paid 09-02-2011

Police Report and Forms sent from Tunisia to US 09-02-11

Received packet from tunisia 09-08-2011

Sent AOS and Visa Application in

two separate packages. 09/22/2011

Received RFE for police report. 10/1/2011 :( Color Copy sent by accident.

Sent ORIGINAL police report 10/2/2011

NVC Received in mail 10/06/2011

Another RFE for untranslated ORIGINAL police report 11/4/2011

ORIGINAL police report sent from tunisia 11/5/2011

11/10/2011 Police Report received and sent to NVC same day.

What we are talking about is to do things that improve your odds, and sending a HANDFUL of pictures with the I-130 seems to be a small step you can take to improve your odds--save the picture albums for your interview !!!
