2. where his father live

3. why he didnt come in last 2 years to meet u.

after that CO gave me White 221(g) form for submitting I864A originally signed by my mother-in-law(Co-spnoser)..I said to CO that I have these documents.. but he said u have to submit these at VFS office...

they kept my passport..

At the same day I submitted the required documents..

Congrats and thanks for sharing. I am sure you will get your visa and passport in a week.

Lesson for all us - submit all the required documents at VFS and take to interview only the additional evidence, to avoid delay.

I was wondering the same. If there was a change to the i-864 (new job etc.) than I can see having to supply a new AOS.

Interesting. Why were I-864/ I-864A required to be submitted - I am sure you submitted those at NVC!

Actually, 2 I864A Forms should be submitted because my father-in-law n mother-in-law jointly pay Income Tax. But we submitted only 1 by my father-in-law because mother in law is not working from past 2 years.

NVC schedule my appointment n wrote me to present I864 during interview.

I read post by others who got 221 g.. n now little bit worried... I wish they'll approve me soon...

You probably should have submitted your father-in-law's W-2s because's that's how they differentiate the part of income that actually came from your father-in-law, from the total income reported on the joint tax return. Absenting the W-2s they can not tell who earns what income and so must ask both of them to submit an I-864A.

I have posted the image on this thread

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/328726-visa-refused-blue-form-with-221g-given-update/

The paper i got was blue ...but what they requested is very similar to what was requested of you. I just care about how long it'll take. My wife's been crying all day because she's been away from me for over a year and now she's worried that it may take few more months since the letter states that it may take "several months"

I did not get the 221g document. My wife has yet to interview.

If you don't mind, what all did you send for your AOS package?

It depends on the country....several months is accurate for Peru.
