Oi,

My fiancee is concerned about the time she will need in Rio, she is nervous about having medical done in Curitiba because she doesn't want to make a mistake. If she gets the medical done before she goes to Rio and her Appointment is on Monday, how many days will she need to stay in Rio?

hello,

im also in the same situation, my fiancee is from sao paulo and she will be traveling to rio for the interveiw, after speaking to many people about there experiences the average is about 2-3 Days should be sufficient for them to comfortably arrive, prepare for the interview , and de-stress for a little. I'm also telling her to prepare for any thing that might cause her to stay a little longer in rio, just in case send her with a good amount of $$ for extra documents, transportation, copies , and medical exams if cannot be done before hand. any more questions send me a message..

Oi,

2-3 days should be fine, if she does her medical in another state. Just in case, make sure she has plenty of money, especially for the interview (if she gets approved, they'll mail the passport with the visa for her, so she needs to pay a fee), or for any possible delay.

If she decides to make the medical here in Rio, then I'd say, at least 1 week (if she doesn't have some of the exams that the doctor here requires, BEFORE the medical itself). For more info about it, you can PM me, I'm from Rio.

Good luck!

Thank you very much for your help, I noticed you're just ahead of us in this whole process. I have read the posted cost of the medical and the visa, but I was wondering what you have found?

Also, what does the doctor there require? I don't think I understand.....

Thanks
