Please help me about affidavit of support plzzzzz

I am from India and my fiancee is u.s citizen.we got engeged and applied for fianee visa.

IIi heared on vj that we need to fill I-134 as affidavit of support but on the newdelhi u.s embassy website its I-864.

What should I do now please help me. I will really appriciate for this.

Most consulates generally require the I-134 for all K-visa applicants but it is up to each individual office to make their own rules on top of USCIS rules. All I see from the New Delhi website is that they don't specifically state which one they require for K1 applicants... It does mention the I-134 in combination with K3 visas but not K1

I would either contact the consulate and ask them which form they will require just to be safe or prepare both forms (can't hurt) for the interview. They're not that different...

The I-134 is deffinatly required so go ahead and fill that out becuase you will need it. as for the I-864, double check before submitting that because it may be that the consulate has no updated there document requirements or that it does not apply to you. Ahh what the hell triple check it. have it ready just in case.
