hi! my prayers are with all of you waiting to hear some good news. Can you add me to the list as well? i sent my I-130 in August. I'm a little confused bc i know two people who sent in their I-130 about a week before me and they were both already approved. I don't understand why some people get approved right away and others have to wait forever.

I am really upset because I see others getting approved at VSC who filed after me. I have been really depressed and crying all day. Also, I see ppl with really petty excuses getting approved for expedites while I got denied for mine. What is the reason for all of this? Do you think it is God's way of showing me that my husband and I are not meant to be? I am not doing so good and losing my mind over all this stuff!

This process will test your love for each other, your emotions and patience. You must take it 1 day at a time. You will drive yourself into a dark room known as depression if you really let this get hold of you. 1 or 2 things not going your way is no way to determine if you are not meant to be. This process is a true test of love and your relationship, if you can make it through this race you will be fine. Many have done it, you can do. Have faith and happy thoughts. :)

I just feel that some people are getting lucky. And I am not one of them.

Maybe they will take 22 days to get NOA2 and then 4 months at nvc

and maybe you and I take 4 months to get NOA2 and then we take 7 days at NVC

I think it all works out to 10-12 months by the end of each journey.

The K1 fiance visa are quicker

but they have to go thru another process about 90 days after they get married in usa

So I think we are doing ok.

I have been waiting like 108 loooooong days but when I see others waiting 11 months for NOA2 I am greatful that I am not in there shoes and I pray I am not. I will be happy if i get it by 5 months but I will be elated if I get it tomorrow!!!

Please take care of yourself and try to find the right words for the expidite. If it was medical then your doctor just has to write a diagnosis.

If it is depression then it doesn't count cause WE ALL have it on VJ

Good Luck

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

Look at my timeline below...I thought I was lucky at getting my NOA2 in 77days and then a HUGE NVC Backlog was established. It's all relative.

Until your loved gets visa in hand and clears POE will you be able to truly get restful sleep.

I see some people have expedited and already have interview dates who filed in July. Then I see people who did NOT expedite and have I-130 and they also speed through NVC. I am just a little confused how CSC can work on somebody who filed after me and still keep me waiting in line. I got the most depressing letter yesterday and it stated that I had to wait 5-10 months to be adjudicated. That my request did not meet the criteria, however, others who had less of an issue than myself got their request granted. I did medical and humanitarian reasons. I had proof and I mean an abundance of proof. I was still denied while others never even were asked for evidence to support their claims. I think that the government just hates me.

Thanks for everyone prayers. I'm praying that we can all get approved soon. The wait has been hard for all of us, but it's good to know we can support each others in our difficult journeys.
